Formed in late 2010 by harmonica player Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Australia's The Murlocs play their own blown-out, distorted brand of soulful R&B. Their 2019 album, Manic Candid Episode, was recorded at Melbourne's Newmarket Studios and produced by King Gizzard's Stu Mackenzie. It features an all-star lineup including Kenny-Smith (KGLW), Cook Craig (KGLW), Callum Shortal (ORB), Matt Blach (Beans), and Tim Karmouche (Crepes). Neon Orange LP in a gatefold jacket.
